Recipe Trials & Errors

In case you were wondering, we tested all of our recipes to ensure maximum tastiness!
Here's a sneak of what it looked like behind the scenes....

Many pots and dirty dishes produced some delicious soup!

Some were successful (Quinoa Stew & Peanut Soup were favorites), others were a disaster (the Green Soup was as awful as is sounds!)

Many of our soups are not only tasty, but extremely photogenic!

Great soup is not just made it the kitchen, it requires office work too: We standardized recipes and did thorough nutritional analysis, too!

Not only did we analyze recipes, but we also brainstormed some serious marketing strategies to help make the project successful.  "Meeting of the Minds" below!

You have to eat something with your soup and local Crumb Brothers Bread was the perfect answer to this dilemma.  We even learned some fancy techniques for slicing a round loaf (Herringbone Style).

Looks good enough to eat, doesn't it?  Well guess what? It's healthy AND delicious!

It wasn't always that pretty, believe me.  We did make a monster sized mess at times!!! BUT, Whether the kitchen was clean or dirty, we learned so much about using real food to provide a simple, nutritious meal to our community.

DISH UP!
